This type of research is qualitative research and the location of this research is in Lok Tua Village, North Bontang District, Bontang City, using guidance and psychological approaches. Nonetheless, online gambling has become one of the causes of concentration disorders, decreased learning achievement, and deviant behavior of children at school. To explain this phenomenon in depth, this study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews with community members, educators, community leaders, and people in the KUA of Bontoa sub-district. The results show that this second problem significantly affects children's social and educational development. Marriage and an increase in the number of children cause structural poverty, while online gambling and dependency disrupt the learning process. This research is rooted in the rapid development of technology, which has a significant impact on education, but also presents challenges such as the digital divide and infrastructure limitations. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a literature study approach. Data was obtained from scientific journals, books, official reports and relevant articles. The analysis was conducted to identify patterns and concepts related to the influence of technology in education. The results show that technology improves the accessibility of education through online learning and the use of multimedia. Technology also supports artificial intelligence (AI)-based interactive and personalized learning methods. However, there are obstacles such as the digital divide and lack of digital skills training for teachers and students. Technology is a potential education transformation tool, but it requires collaboration between governments, educational institutions and the private sector to overcome the challenges. Public school education offers a broader education that focuses on an academic curriculum designed to equip children with real knowledge and skills in various fields, but religious education in public schools is very limited compared to Islamic boarding schools. Alumni of pesantren generally show better character and manners than public school graduates.<br>This study aims to examine parents' preferences in Masalle village in choosing formal education in public schools over pesantren. The main focus of this research is to understand the factors that influence parents' decisions in determining the type of education considered most suitable for their children. The research approach used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation.<br>The results show that parents' preferences are influenced by several factors, including parents' educational background, family economic conditions, accessibility of education, and their views on the quality of religious and academic education. Most parents who choose public schools consider the academic curriculum to be superior and the wider career opportunities in the future. Education can be carried out by families, communities, and governments, both at school and outside of school. Meanwhile, morality is a teaching that contains the development of morals and human behavior and manners. This study aims to find out how parents affect the daily education and morals of children in Tanete Village Spectacle Hamlet, with the background that the people of Tanete Village Spectacle Hamlet are farmers who need every day spent in the garden to make money. Thus, early childhood becomes a victim of a lack of parental attention in daily life, so that no one controls their daily life and has an impact on early childhood morale. The conclusion of this study is that parents' attention to early childhood in Tontonan Hamlet, Tanete Village, is not what is prioritized by the residents there, but what is prioritized is the economic results and livelihood of the local community, so that early childhood only gets attention at school. It becomes a separate question in the midst of the Tongko village community regarding the challenges of building harmonisation after the election was held. Researchers deliberately chose to examine this issue with the aim of finding out what is the root of the problem why the Regent election in Enrekang Regency this year is very heated, in addition researchers also want to know more deeply what the impact of political polarisation is and how to deal with it after the election takes place. The research method used in this research is research with a qualitative approach. The results of this study found that the root cause of why this year's regent election was so heated was because there were two pairs of candidates who were close relatives. The effects and impacts of political polarisation can create social fragmentation, disrupt daily life, decrease community credibility and have an impact on government. Therefore, among the efforts to rebuild community harmony is to instill and implement the values of Pancasila, instill and implement the harmonious values of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, instill religious values, build dialogue spaces, parties and leaders who play an active role.</em></p> Afin Abrori Abd.
